What is Iridology?

Iridology is an alternative health practice that involves analyzing the patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris (the colored part of the eye) to assess a person's systemic health.

Practitioners look at the color and structure of the iris, sclera and pupil to help gain an understanding of past, present and future health conditions.

Different parts of the eyes relate to different organs, parts of the body and personality characteristics, and we are able to gain insights into their weaknesses and strengths.

Iridology can determine potential health risks at the earliest stage and can identify specific nurture points that we need to give extra attention to in daily life.

Iridology is believed to provide insights into a wide range of health conditions, including digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and more. By identifying areas of weakness or congestion in the body, iridologists aim to support overall health and well-being through targeted interventions such as dietary changes, lifestyle modifications, and natural remedies.

What Can Iridology Reveal?

Practitioners of iridology use specialized equipment such as an iriscope to examine the iris in detail. They look for signs such as discolorations, markings, and patterns that may indicate areas of weakness or imbalance in the body. These signs are then interpreted to identify potential health issues or imbalances.

How Does Iridology Work?

Iridology

  • Non-invasive: Iridology does not involve any invasive procedures or tests, making it a gentle and non-intrusive way to assess health.

  • Holistic approach: Iridology takes into account the interconnectedness of the body and aims to address underlying imbalances rather than just treating symptoms.

  • Personalized insights: Each person's iris is unique, and iridology offers personalized insights into individual health needs and concerns.

  • Complementary to other modalities: Iridology can be used alongside other health practices and modalities to provide a more comprehensive understanding of a person's health.

Benefits of Iridology
  • Once you have purchased the iridology reading you will receive an email with instructions (check your spam/promotions folder if you don’t see it). You will be required to email me 3 high quality photos of each eye, to make sure the I can see all the important markings.

Feel free to let me know in the email if there is anything specific you’re excited to find out about or any health concerns you have that you would like me to focus on.

I will then analyze the photos and write a report of findings, which will be emailed to you within 1 week.

  • We need really crisp, detailed photos of both eyes for iridology. Use the highest resolution possible and get someone to help you. If you’ve got a good camera, use that (set to macro), otherwise an iPhone should be fine (using the back camera).
Natural day light is best, indoors and next to a window.

    • Position yourself close to a window and stand sideways to it (facing the window will cause glare).

    • Use your fingers to open your upper and lower eyelids so that your whole iris (colored part of your eye) is visible.

    • Get close to the camera, making sure it focuses on the iris and look directly into the lens.

    • Use a tripod or have someone with a steady hand to take a few photos. Have the iris in the center of the photo.

    • Adjust to get better photos if necessary: move back slightly, try flash, use HDR on phone, etc.

    • Check photos: Zoom in to see if the photo is clear, focused and that you can see as much detail as possible. If the iris is blurry, there is glare, red eye or you can’t see the entire iris, try again.

    • Once you 3 great quality photos of each eye, rename them on your computer (e.g.. Ashley Collin -Left eye 1) and email them to me. If the files are big you can send them in multiple emails

*Just remember my reading can only be as good as the quality of the photos, so be sure to double and triple check the quality.

  • Yes, when we finish the reading, we will recommend what herbs or tinctures could be beneficial for your condition/s.

  • We recommend to get a second reading 30 days after the first reading and after you have started the treatment with natural herbs to check the progress on your condition/s.

  • Yes, it's able to any age group.

  • You still can get an iris reading with contact lens

  • Contact us if you have any questions

Within the iris lies a map of our health, revealing the story of our body's journey towards balance and harmony." - Unknown

Ruth is a Certified Iridologist. From a very young age she liked psychology. By studying the topic, she discovered the decoding of emotions and how it affects our physical health.

From her family she inherited a love for medicinal plants and their different uses, both in chalks and in tinctures and homeopathic drops. Iridology was practiced at her home. All of her relatives, at some point (led by her parents) participated in eye readings.

When she became a mother, she also turned to this method for diagnosis and natural medicine. Her goal was to learn this technique to help others in the same way they helped her. Today it makes her very happy to transmit this knowledge with people from all corners of the world.
